NEWS FLASH...Design Team changes!

Yes, there's been a couple of changes...unfortunately, Helen has had to return to work, which means less time for scrapping - so she's had to cut back on some of her teams - we were very sad to see her go - she's a fabulous scrapper! Similarly, Gina is also leaving - she kindly stayed on for longer than her original term & we thank her for her fantastic support of Scrap Friends. 
Of course, this means a couple of NEW scrappers have come on board. We are really excited to introduce these ladies, who are both very talented and creative girls!!!

Tell us a little about your background:

I'm from Kiev, Ukraine.  I'm 26 and I'm really...REALLY happily married! My husband is the greatest inspiration to me! During my life I used to be a singer, photographer, video editor, interpreter and a school teacher!  For the last 10 years I worked as a choreographer and a dancer, so my life is pretty creative:) 

How long have you been scrapbooking?

For a very long time... 6 months!! The reason I started scrapping was my wedding. And it was my husband's idea to have the handmade invitations. At that time we didn't know that it was even called scrapbooking!

Type[s] of scrapping you’re ‘into’?

My passion is layouts and mini albums...I guess they have similarities, as the mini is really just a number of tiny layouts...

Describe your scrapping style?

I call it American freestyle:):):) It's a mix of a freestyle and different embellishments.

You love to use...

Paper!

Current fave products?

ILS papers, twine and my favourite mists man - Mister Huey's!

Tell us a little about your background.
I live in a small country town just outside of Capel in Western Australia with my husband Quentin and 3 gorgeous girls: Holly 10, Storm 9 and Jorja 3. I am a SAHM at present, but I am so excited to jump back into the workforce next year. I have been helping out our community by volunteering, and it’s been such a rewarding cause  - as well as a great stepping stone back into the work force next year. 
How long have you been scrapping?
Gosh! I have been scrapping for at least 9 years – I scrapped the first few years all by myself, as I had no idea about the WWW and magazines! 
Types of scrapping you’re into?
I am a 12 x 12 girl. In the last year or two I have start to really get into cards and off the page projects as well - something I was so frightened of for such a long time. Now I LOVE them. Describe your scrapping style?
I think my scrapping style is colourful, artsy, whimsical and eclectic. 
You love to use....
Screen printed overlays, chipboard, washi tapes, paints, mists, vines, buttons, wood veneer feathers and, of course, machine stitching is a must! 
Current fave product[s]?
Feathers! I have just started to buy an assortment of different kinds from all the brands and have been making dream catchers for my girls and super cool American Indian inspired arrows. Oh and some flair…. Love them!

Can't wait to see Leeann inspiring us with those feathers!
